Exciting News! Our Supporting Undocumented Students’ College & Career Equity: Strategies for Success (SUCCESS) 2024 Convening will be held at Rice University on Friday, March 29 through Saturday, March 30, 2024.
The focus of the 2024 SUCCESS convening will be to share and equip campuses with cutting-edge practices and resources that support the educational and career equity outcomes for undocumented students, including non-employment based experiential learning models, pathways to graduate and professional programs, career development for undocumented students, and more!

Webinar- Do you know who your refugee students are?
On November 30th from 12 PM ET/9 AM PT, the Presidents’ Alliance and Duolingo English Test hosted a webinar on the release of a new groundbreaking report on refugee students in U.S. higher education.
Speakers discussed the impacts of substantial data gaps concerning refugee and displaced students—revealing how these gaps obscure the challenges faced by these students in accessing higher education. There were also discussions on how initiatives such as the Duolingo University Access (DUA) Program can offer crucial support to refugee and displaced students seeking to pursue higher education in the U.S. and elsewhere.
Webinar - Pathways to Protection for DACA Recipients: Unlocking Advance Parole
On November 8, 2023, at 3 PM ET/12 PM PT, the Presidents’ Alliance, in partnership with FWD.us and TheDream.US hosted a webinar to learn more about Advance Parole (AP) – what it is, how it works, the ways in which AP may unlock pathways to more permanent protections for DACA recipients, and the steps required to establish an AP program on your campus.
For this webinar, panelists will discuss the challenges and opportunities they encountered while offering insights on how colleges and universities can support DACA recipients looking to use AP to travel abroad.
