The Presidents’ Alliance on Higher Education and Immigration submitted a comment letter in response to the request for public input from the U.S. Department of State: Proposed Rule: Schedule of Fees for Consular Services-Nonimmigrant and Special Visa Fees, RIN 1400-AF33, on proposed adjustment to the Schedule of Fees for Consular Services (Schedule of Fees) of the Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA) for several nonimmigrant visa application processing fees, the Border Crossing Card for Mexican citizens age 15 and over, and the waiver of the two-year resident requirement (J-Waiver) fee.
