WHAT CAMPUS LEADERS NEED TO KNOW AND WHAT THEY CAN DO
The COVID-19 pandemic is upending the lives of millions of students in U.S. colleges and universities, including hundreds of thousands of DACA recipients, undocumented students, and international students. Campus leaders must find appropriate steps to support these students as they face significant legal, regulatory, economic, and social challenges to their studies and futures.
The Presidents’ Alliance is currently providing timely briefings and advocacy opportunities for our members around the immigration-related legal and regulatory issues impacting students in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. We are also sending recommendations to the federal government on these important issues.
