US association lobbies government on policies to boost student recruitment

The Presidents’ Alliance also called on the U.S Agency for International Development (USAID) to prioritize international student recruitment as part of the nation’s foreign policy and development strategy, and to re-invest funding for scholarships for international students from strategic areas of the world.

In recommendations for the White House, the Presidents’ Alliance called for the establishment of a White House-level office to coordinate efforts between agencies.
