“Jose Magaña-Salgado, director of policy and communications for the Presidents’ Alliance on Higher Education and Immigration, told your host that college presidents are preparing for all possible outcomes as they wait for the Supreme Court decision, which is expected later this year, on whether the Obama-era program will continue.
“The alliance estimated there are about 120,000 DACA recipients who are students in post-secondary institutions, while others are working on campuses or are recent alumni. There are about 649,070 total DACA recipients as of Dec. 31, 2019.
“Here are five ways universities can help their students before and after the decision.”
