SUCCESS 2024 Convening

Exciting News! Our Supporting Undocumented Students’ College & Career Equity: Strategies for Success (SUCCESS) 2024 Convening will be held at Rice University on Friday, March 29 through Saturday, March 30, 2024.

The focus of the 2024 SUCCESS convening will be to share and equip campuses with cutting-edge practices and resources that support the educational and career equity outcomes for undocumented students, including non-employment based experiential learning models, pathways to graduate and professional programs, career development for undocumented students, and more!

Presidents’ Alliance member campuses and affiliate partner organizations as well as TheDream.US partner colleges that register by December 31, 2023 are eligible for a 30% discount code on the registration rates.

Who should attend? 

• Campus staff and faculty working with undocumented students, including general counsels, career development, student support services, academic advising, and graduate and professional programs. Representatives from across the higher ed sector are encouraged to attend, including community colleges, liberal arts colleges, public and private research universities, faith-based institutions, HBCUs, HSIs, and MSIs.
• Impacted undergraduate and/or graduate student leaders
• Leaders and representatives of immigration and education organizations supporting undocumented students in higher education
• Impacted immigrant entrepreneurs and alumni, especially those engaged in efforts to expand access to post-graduate and career opportunities

Interested in presenting at the SUCCESS Convening?! Deadline for submissions is November 27, 2023.

The convening includes opportunities to present and share effective practices on (1) non-employment based experiential learning models, (2) pathways to graduate and professional programs, (3) career development for undocumented students or post-graduate opportunities beyond campus, and (4) models of immigration services for undocumented students.
