Webinar: Dreamers, Higher Ed & Immigration Reform Legislation – A Briefing for Congressional Offices

Congress is considering several bills and legislative paths to legalization for immigrant students, including DACA recipients and other undocumented students. Each of the bills will also impact higher education access, affordability, and success for these students, whether by enabling undocumented students to access federal financial aid or by offering them permanent residence. Sponsored by Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-TX-20), this one-hour briefing features a discussion  impacted students, and immigration and higher education policy experts on current immigration legislation efforts and their higher education implications, from in-state tuition to professional licensing.
