Webinar: Uplifting Campus Resources: Effective Practices to Support Undocumented Students in Higher Education


On Wednesday, October 19, 2022, the Presidents’ Alliance and co-sponsors, TheDream.US, FWD.us, Immigrants Rising, and Informed Immigrants hosted a webinar, Uplifting Campus Resources: Effective Practices to Support Undocumented Students in Higher Education.

This webinar focused on the initiatives and effective practices that campus leaders and practitioners have implemented to support undocumented students with and without work authorization. Presenters shared about the top needs of undocumented students, the research on Undocumented Student Resource Centers (USRC) and how to start a center in a tuition restrictive state, the process of developing non-employment based fellowships, how to fund graduate school, the importance of building communities of practices, and updates on new higher education portal tools and resources.
