DACA and the 5th Circuit: What’s at Stake and Why Join Our Amicus Brief

The Presidents‘ Alliance and TheDream.US are coordinating an amicus brief in support of MALDEF’s appeal in Texas v. United States, the Fifth Circuit case involving the legality of DACA. On Monday, January 22, from 3-4 pm ET/12-1 pm PT,  The Presidents‘ Alliance and TheDream.US co-hosted a webinar that covered the case, what is at stake, an outline of the amicus brief, and why institutions and organizations should consider joining. Speakers discussed projections about the future timeline of the case and shared communication resources for campuses that join the brief.

Amicus briefs are due on February 1, 2024. To join our amicus brief, institutions must sign up by 5 pm ET on January 29, 2024. See the invitation for more information.
