On February 14, 2022 Presidents’ Alliance joined Advancing Justice, AAJC, the Asian Law Caucus, and and 69 other education groups, academic associations, and civil rights organizations in signing on to an amicus brief in support of Professor Xiaoxing Xi’s appeal to reinstate his claims for damages against the United States’ government for discriminatory practices and racial profiling. Professor Xi is one of many Asian American and Asian immigrant scientists around the country who have been targeted.
The brief addresses racial discrimination and profiling against Asian American and immigrants, particularly those working in science and academics.
