The Supreme Court has ruled that the administration’s attempt to end DACA in September 2017 is unlawful. The one-hour briefing featured higher education, immigration, legal, and policy experts who addressed the implications of the Supreme Court decision on DACA. It provided an overview and analysis of the decision; its implications for current and prospective DACA recipients; impact on colleges and universities; and opportunities for state, federal, and higher ed advocacy. This briefing featured the perspectives of college and university system presidents and the next practical, advocacy, and support steps that campuses now can take to support undocumented students.
